These symbols glow white if the corresponding cape wedge is charged. The 11th and 12th wedges (the current maximum) are a second outline around the top two symbols. In other words, the 6th-10th cape wedges are each represented by an outline around the 1st-5th diamond. The number of symbols (including the outlines/frames) matches the player's total number of wedges. On most capes, the symbols are stars/diamonds, but specialty capes may have season-specific or event-specific symbols. The cape symbols are not, however, a direct indication of a a player's experience because there are ways to lose cape wedges. This allows players to see each other energy levels, for example to know when a friend needs to be recharged. In addition, any time the player is recharging, the entire cape undergoes a color-change animation. The back of the player's cape has a line of symbols showing their current cape energy. ![]()
